Hi there and thanks for visiting! We're Hive, a small boutique located in lovely Bayfield, Ontario.
Hive is the product of owner Jenn Wallace's love for fashion and design. She aims to create a shop that is vintage inspired; where things are collected, reworked, and re-imagined. Hive hopes to inspire visitors by mixing and matching and revamping; Pairing art and craft with real life. By employing creativity, being resourceful and taking chances and colliding unlikely time periods or styles together to create a really individual outfit or decor.
Many of the items we specialize in are vintage inspired, Canadian designed or made, up-cycled or handcrafted. We carry hand-painted bicycle bells; handbags; garden accessories; picnic baskets; men and women's clothing; baskets for market shopping; and handmade jewelry from all over the world.
We proudly serve delicious locally roasted coffee from the original Huron County coffee roaster, Coastal Coffee Co. On Saturday mornings we have fresh bread delivered from Red Cat Farms - 100% organic flours, wheat-free options. Goderich's famous Culbert Bakery also supplies us with Cream Puffs, donuts, cookies, and croissants. All your favourites are in stock from Exeter's chocolate factory, Sugar & Spice - Mint Smoothie, anyone? What's summer in the village without a chunk of butter and sugar? That's right, we also carry your favourite fudge flavours. We also carry Auburn's Hanna's Maple Syrup and Maple BBQ sauce, pepperettes from The Whole Pig, and of course, local honey from Ferguson's Apiaries.

Returns + Exchanges
Online Return Policy - At this time, we are trying to keep returns and exchanges to a minimum. If there is an issue with your order (wrong item was sent or damage), please contact us within 7 days if there are any issues with your order. We offer exchange or store credit only, no refunds. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If you are looking to exchange an item, we only cover shipping costs if there was a mistake on our end, otherwise all shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. A receipt is required for any returns or exchanges. Sale items & swimwear are final sale. Please email us - hiveofbayfield@gmail.com - or call us - 519.565.4483 - if something has arrived damaged or not as expected and we will do our best immediately resolve the issue. Items that are damaged in transit are not our responsibility, however we can assist in submitting a claim through Canada Post.
